How do I add my tickets to the app?

This guide assumes that you have an e-ticket in PDF form and are using a Windows based computer. The use of a paper ticket is not supported.

1. Open the PDF e-ticket for the relevant match.
2. Click the QR code part of the ticket, then right-click it and select "Copy Image".
3. Open an image editing programme, e.g. Paint 3D.
4. Paste the QR code on to the canvas.
5. Crop the image such that there is no white border around the QR code. At time of writing the dimensions of the code alone are 21px x 21px.
6. Enlarge the image ensuring that it does not blur (commonly known as nearest neighbour resizing). We recommend resizing to 420px x 420px. i.e. 20 times the original size.
7. Save the image to a location that you can access from your device.
8. In the application select the relevant match.
9. On the match details screen tap the "Add Ticket" button.
10. Tap the "Select Ticket" button and choose your saved ticket above.
11. Optionally, enter your section, row and seat details.
12. Tap the "Save" button to save the ticket.

Why such a faff?

A couple of reasons:

• We're not affiliated with the Scottish Football Association in any way so have no way of accessing your tickets online without you having to add them manually.
• The size of the QR code image is too small to be used directly in the Android application. If used without modification it would be resized and become too blurry to be read.

Why is the app only available on Android?

We don't currently have any iOS devices that we can reliably develop against and test on.
